Helping clients to create a positive change in their lives is my passion.
I am a Psychologist with experience across a wide range of mental health conditions and I have worked overseas and in Australia. I believe that a therapist’s authenticity, empathy and unconditional positive regard are essential for promoting growth and healing.
Working from a Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy framework, I utilise principles and techniques from a range of other evidence-based approaches including Schema Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Mindfulness and EMDR.
I have experience in helping adults of all ages with a range of presentations, including mood disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, grief and loss, stress and emotional regulation. I am passionate about supporting people in developing skills to improve their mental health and well-being. My therapeutic style is open and flexible and I focus on developing a safe, non-judgmental approach and supportive space for clients.
Apart from English, I am fluent in Slovak and Czech.
